We've been fighting food waste in Seattle for a few weeks now, and today we are thrilled to announce our partnership with Food Lifeline, a Washington-based organization whose mission is to feed people experiencing hunger today while working to end hunger for tomorrow. 

For over 40 years Food Lifeline has been working to address hunger in Washington state, by sourcing food from a variety of industry partners and distributing it through programs with over 350 food banks, shelters, and meal programs that serve people throughout Western Washington. Last year alone, they distributed 75.4 million pounds of food!

This partnership will allow Too Good To Go users in the area to make monetary donations to Food Lifeline directly through the app, which will support the non-profit in providing hundreds of thousands of nutritious meals to people facing hunger in Western Washington every day.

In addition to giving monetary donations through the Too Good To Go app, Washingtonians can also support Food Lifeline through its sizable volunteer program that mobilizes thousands of local volunteers to help collect, sort, and distribute food for individuals experiencing food insecurity.
