Today, October 16th is World Food Day (WFD). This year marks the 75th anniversary of the founding of specialty agency The Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) within the United Nations. The theme “Grow, Nourish, Sustain. Together.” is the perfect opportunity to celebrate food, the people behind it - and the wonders of our planet with the launch of our very own Youtube channel. We can all be food heroes!

About Our Channel: 

Our society has lost its meaningful connection with the food we eat. The abundance of it and the wastefulness throughout the supply chain have created a massive disconnect between us and the origins of our food. To best understand the impact that food has on our planet, we need to know where it comes from. Let's get to know the people behind the food we eat, and better understand where and why food resources go wasted. 

Too Good To Go, is thrilled to showcase stories about food, people, and the planet through our very own YouTube channel. We will dedicate the time and space to sharing important stories, zero-waste recipes, and explore the many different ways that food systems and waste affect our planet 🦸🏽‍♀️ 🌍 🥣.

Our hope is to re-instill respect and a deeper understanding of the food systems across the world by bringing you, our viewers closer to them.
